This two-story brick building represents the use of Italianate style in Richmond's commercial structures. Above the two equally-spaced triple windows, large-scale pedimental window hoods are dominant features. A simple cornice of stamped metal and a frieze board are supported by brackets. Although the first floor has been replaced by a more recent glass and brick storefront, the building continues the upper-story windows found in the other buildings that also surround the courthouse (MAR-65).
