At approximately 70 feet, the Baptism River's Upper (or High) Falls is the highest waterfall in Minnesota. (Note that Pigeon Falls is shared with Canada.) There is also a Lower (or Two Step) Falls on the Baptism River, and upstream is 45 foot Illgen Falls. The Baptism River is located in Tettegouche State Park, accessible from scenic Highway 61 on Minnesota's North Shore of Lake Superior.
