This is a Victorian style house with an entrance which has been altered.
Some significant details include "a two story bay under the flared gable end incorporating the entrance on the main facade. There is a small gabled hood over the front door. The large gabled end on the main facade combines with the hipped roof to give a pediment effect. The transoms over the first floor windows are leaded with diamond motifs."
The legal description is "Lot 13-14, Oakley's Addition"
"This Victorian style home is in good shape and sits on a nicely landscaped lot, making it very appealing. This end of the street seems to have a 1940's and 50's vintage to it, making this house one of the earliest built here".[1]
History
"The original owner, builder, and occupant of this house which was built for $2,000, was Julius L. Kuhl, an insurance agent."
