The building in the foreground is the Saurwein Building, built in 1895. In the center is the Louise Building, built in 1895, and the building at the end is the Rochat Building. The Sauerwein, Louise and Rochat buildings, represent one of the few remaining intact Victorian commercial blocks in the city. Ornate commercial blocks such as this once lined St. Paul's major commercial streets and streetcar lines.
