Talk:Miller House, 101 West Irvine Street, Richmond, Kentucky
From Placeography
In 1974 my parents retired to Richmond, and lived in one of the Cassius Clay houses at 804 W. Main St. My dad went to work with a small carpentry business, and one of the first jobs he received was to renovate the inside of the Old Miller House on West Irvine Street. At that time, I believe much of the inside was gutted and he and his assistant Wayne Smith, put down new floors and walls and did most of the modernization inside. My father's name was Robert L. (Bob) Moore and he was known around Richmond for his exacting standards in carpentry and restoration work. He lived in Richmond until his death in 1996. Christine M. Smith cmsmith@butler.edu
